Our goal is to serve as a resource for Muslim and non-Muslim individuals alike; Through our religious services, educational programs, and outreach initiatives, we aim to promote peace, and a deeper understanding of Islam, contributing to the overall well-being and cultural enrichment of our society.

The Islamic Center of Portland, Masjed As-Saber is a Sunni Islamic center that offers a variety of services, including Islamic classes, lectures, and events. The center aims to provide a well-rounded Islamic education and a positive environment for Muslim students.

We are a non-profit 501(c)(3), non-political, educational and religious organization. We strive to share the teachings of Islam according to the Holy Qur’an and the Sunnah (the way) of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Our primary objective is to serve our local Muslim community by providing prayer services and basic spiritual needs. We also hope to serve as a bridge between the local Muslim and non-Muslim communities in order to promote mutual learning and continuing understanding.
